 Real
Divas was founded in 1997 by webmistress Crystal Hickerson. The site started
out as a release of tension about men and relationships. The response
was overwhelming and many women began to join in on the male bashing fun.
Over the years Real Divas has grown into a more positive site about
the promotion of self strength, self worth, and independence for women
of all ages and nationalities.
As an unwritten rule,
Real Divas squelches no opinions while also forbidding hateful remarks
that may be offensive to its visitors. Participation from every visitor
is welcome and encouraged. Writers are encouraged to submit their work
for publication on Real Divas. The topics that are allowed vary to many
a degree depending on what would be of interest to women of today.
Real Divas is an
open community site which offers its content for free. All content is of
course copyrighted by the webmaster or by the contributing authors. Real
Divas is not in any way in competition with the “big boy” sites or with
any site. Links are welcome and resources always needed. This site
is about information and participation.
I would like to welcome
